La Passolara is the building in which the famous white figs of Cilento were dried. La Passolara is also the name of an agricultural estate of 400 olive trees and 10 hectares of terrain in Punta Licosa, Cilento. The estate properties Casino di Caccia ('Little Hunting Lodge') and 'Casa della Servitud ('The Servants Quarters') are being restored and will be available to rent from summer 2025.


STORY
Peppe Fiorentino visited Punta Licosa for the first time in 1980 and fell in love with the place. He would return every summer with his family in their caravan and years later he bought a small plot of land and built a house. He retired to the area in 2000 and although now in his 90s he is still tending to his garden. Peppe is a local legend. His son Michele followed in his footsteps and purchased La Passolara in 2021 and is now restoring the estate.

THE APARTMENTS
Self-catering apartments will be available Casino di Caccia that can sleep up to six guests. Bedding and towels will be provided along with all the kitchen essentials needed for the stay. All the apartments have private gardens and sea views. The beach is a 5 minute walk from the property and the town of San Marco is a 30 min fabulous walk along the coast - or a 10 minute drive.
PUNTA LICOSA
Punta Licosa is a peninsula located in Cilento, Campania. It is a private National Park only accessible to residents and guests and also a Marine Protected Area. Cilento has been designated ia Unesco World Heritage Site and the coast is famous not only for its archaelogical significance but also for its natural beauty, its food (the 'Mediterranean Diet') and clear waters. The beaches in Cilento have 13 of Campania's 18 'Bandiera Blu' awards for water quality.
