PEPPE & LINA
Peppe & Lina Fiorentino have been married for 60 years. They both grew up in Naples and retired to Licosa in 2000. Everyone knows Lina and on a summer morning you can find her swimming at the Licosa marina. Peppe and Lina live on a small property in Licosa where Peppe grows over 40 varieties of fruit and vegetables. When Lina needs a lemon for her cooking she calls Peppe who gets out his ladder and cuts one from the tree.

IL BARONE
Peppe and Lina's son Michele has spent his summers in Licosa since he was a young boy, The majority of the land in the peninsula is owned by either Il Barone or Il Principe, noble families who have lived in the area for centuries. When Il Barone passed away in 2021 Michele had the unique opportunity to buy La Passolara, at the time a series of ruins surrounded by 10 hectares of unkept olive trees and wild shrubs. He has been carefully restoring the buildings and bringing the trees back to health.

THE ESTATE
400 olive trees, one enormous 400 year old mulberry tree (if you can find it), wild myrtle, laurel and I Corbezzoli, the national tree of Italy also known as the strawberry tree. There are plans to restore some of the original terracing and plant various fruit trees - oranges, lemons, mandarins, pomegranites, mulberries, loquats and the famous Cilento fig. The numerous trails in the area lead you to the old WWII tower with its spectacular views over the park, and the towns of San Marco and Ogliastro.

THE PROPERTIES
The estate consists of four properties; Casino di Caccia, La Passolara, Casa Della Servitu and Casa del Fattore. Works started on the Casino di Caccia (Little Hunting Lodge) in May 2023. The Casino dates from the 1800s and would have been a summer get-away for the Perrotti family who may well have hunted the wild boar that live in the hills behind La Passolara.
